1991 Ford Escort LX review from North America
"A very good car for going on short trips, but not the best choice for a family"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The timing belt snapped at about 110,000.
The check coolant light comes on at random.
The A/C brought the condensation water inside the car and dripped it all over the floor on the passenger side.
General comments?
This car is very reliable, pretty quick, and a little uncomfortable on long trips.
It's very good for maneuvering in tight spots. It's very nimble in city traffic and has good visibility.
However, there are some better choices for winter driving.
