1989 Ford Escort Bonus review from UK and Ireland
"Escort- brilliant"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The engine is rather noisy. I believe this is due to the tappets!
The Alternator belt is slightly loose and can make a little noise.
The handbrake is slightly worn but you can still pull it up around a corner and make a nice loud squeal!
General comments?
This car is quite quick and pulls away from traffic lights well.
Top speed hasn't been tested due to conforming with current UK speed restrictions.
The seats are a little uncomfortable as they do not allow a great deal of choice of positioning.
Seat belts get jammed easily and that is frustrating.
I love this car.
