Exhaust keeps dropping to floor. head gasket went valve stem oil seals went, bottom end has warped. the dashboard cracked.
I bought my first mark 3 escort 6 years ago since then I fell in love with them I have had five so far and I would love to get a garage and fully restore the one I have now.
The feel when I drive the car is great.
No matter how much abuse the car gets it just seems to keep going

Very good site, but I would appreciate some information on where to get technical DIY information on Ford Escort Ghia 1.3, and things like can they be converted to unleaded petrol/carb setup etc. Other website addresses would be a great help.
