1995 Ford Escort LX review from North America
"Far exceeded the cost"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
My trunk leaked at around 16,000 mile, repaired by dealership with couching.
Radiator started to leak at 80,000 miles, this was repaired at my own cost because it was out of warranty. I feel this is normal ware.
Throughout the life of the car, I replaced the tires and brakes twice. This also seemed to be normal war.
General comments?
The car had good pick up with the manual transmission.
The only real repairs need to this car where those from general ware and tear. I still had the original muffle on the car at 106,000 miles and six years of use.
This car held up great in a crash that I had with a tractor trailer at 40 mile per hour. I had bumps and bruises. Unfortunately this finally killed my car after some great years.
