"Cheap to run and reliable"

Replaced back wheel bearings (wear and tear) 112,000 miles.
New thermostat
New alternator at 99,000 miles.
General comments?
Starting to encounter the usual wear and tear now , considering the cars age.
Generally a very reliable car.

4000 mile trip from London to Spain (via France) is when the wheel bearings and thermostat were replaced, but no other problems.
