1988 Ford Escort GL review from UK and Ireland
"Off down the shops......."
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Rear windscreen wiper has never worked, horn has a mind of its own, strange knocking from front wheels, exhaust fell off, rear drivers door locks and unlocks at random, leaks oil and two blowouts, the gearbox is like a spoon in custard, one washer jet is impotent, the other points westward, overheats at traffic lights and leaks oil for days.
General comments?
Not bad on performance, sits at sixty and it looks like a family bus, so the filth never look twice.
