1989 Ford Escort GT review from North America
"A total disaster"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
CV axles, fuel pump, water pump, timing belt, serpentine belt, starter, clutch, wheel bearing, radio, heater, air condition, lights and the list goes on!This must be the worse car ever made!Being a GT model you would think it can at least take a turn at a decent speed, but I was wrong there and probably any car will beat this one in a turn. The engine has good power when it works. The car seems real heavy when you try to push it (happens a lot) and the good news- (as they say) the rear window heater works so your hands will not freeze as you push. This car has been a bad marriage and a great divorce!
General comments?
After 2500$ total costs walked away with 500$!
