2000 Ford Escort ZX2 review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Heater conrol linkage came off at about 20,00 miles.
Brake pads were replaced at around 40,00 miles.
General comments?
Good, reliable car. I bought it new in 2000 and have taken it all over the country.
Other than oil changes and other routine maintenance, I have done no other work to this car besides what I listed above.
Very quick response and good handling. Paid $16,000 for it new and have absolutely no regrets.
Just bought a PT Cruiser and passed this car on to my wife. We plan to keep it for many more years.
