2000 Ford Escort s/r from North America - Comments

The car was my friends before I got it,

well he had to replace the engine because it was making this knocking sound. One day we were meeting up to go somewhere, he told me that the noise is back. I had it check out at Ford, and one of the mechanics said " it's fine that noise is normal". I'm no mechanic,

but even I know that's sound is not right. And to top it off, even if I wanted to fix the problem or change the engine I couldn't, because the company does not want to put a guaranty on my car or warranty. So they gave me back the money that I paid for the warranty.

So now I have this $** *** car with no frig en warranty!! None the less,

I LOVE MY ZX-2 S/R whether it be in yellow or black.

I love this car since I was 16 years old, I told all my friends that I would have one one day. Now I'm 23 years old and I just bought one just a few months ago!.. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Sounds like you're still 16 years old to me, but then I'm an old man, but seriously, are you sure the engine was rebuilt?

Sometimes they just fix the damaged part, wipe the engine clean to make it look like new and charge you for a new one!

Sounds unbelievable, but I've known this to happen before.

I bought my first 2000 Ford ZX2 S/R almost two years ago and I love it. It's a fun car to drive and gets better gas mileage than my last car. I bought the car knowing the clutch was going out on it and knowing there would be a few other things to fix, but I wanted it and I'm still glad I bought it.
