I have taken it in for routine check-ups and have only fixed minor things (the battery, tires)
This car will not let you down!
It makes a great start/commuter car. (I have actually taken it on a week long road trip without any problems!)
It's nothing fancy, but it gets the job done.
It's roomy and bright inside.
I have had NO serious problems with the car at all!
I keep waiting for something to go wrong, thinking it's too good to be true since I only paid $2500 for it, but it keeps going strong!
I highly recommend this car!
It's worth way more than I paid for it!
I'm thinking the same thing about wondering if something will happen. I have a 1997 LX Sport, I'm 6 foot 3, and I am some what comfortable in it, but I have had such good luck with it.
I have driven it to Florida from Michigan and back 3 times in the past 6 months, and the car has 188,767 miles on it, and I'm looking at going back to Michigan in 10 months, and it's makeing that trip with me. I love the gas mileage and I think it will make 300,000 miles.
The big thing is at every 80,000 I recommend changing the timeing belt, water pump, and every 30,000 flush the transmission. And 3,000 mile oil changes 10 w 30 Castrol GTX high mile oil.
I'm close to 200,000 miles on my original automatic transmission and engine, so it must be worth serviceing it regularly.
