2001 Ford Excursion Limited review from North America
"Do not let the gas go under a half a tank otherwise you will have to file for bankruptcy. LOL!!!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing really except there is a big crack in the windshield. I just not yet had a chance to get it replaced.
General comments?
I like it because it is powerful, big, comfortable, and safe, and handles very well through the very bad winters we have in upstate New York.
I bought it from a buddy when I totaled my Hummer, which was the total opposite of this truck. My Hummer handled very poor in the bad weather and it was not comfortable. I like the Excursion better.
One thing I have to complain about is the gas mileage, but it's a good thing I only drive it back and forth to work, and I work close to home. I go through half a tank a week. When I have to drive far I use my wife's car. She drives a Mitsubishi Lancer.
