2002 Ford Excursion Limited review from North America
"Exactly what I expected and more, a welcome behemeth"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I am very happy with our new Ford Excursion. We have not had any trouble with the vehicle at all.
General comments?
I went from a 1995 Ford F150, to a new 1999 Chevrolet Silverado, and could not believe the difference in the quality and reliability. Chevrolet really let me down, across the board, from the CD player, to switches, anti lock brake controller, pinion gear in the drive train, upholstery, even the battery had to be replaced twice... not because it wasn't working, but because it split down the side, all on its own. At 52000 miles, I gave it back. I thought I would give Chrysler a try... 2002 Ram 1500 4x4, 360, 10MPG!! I am back to Ford to stay, I'm sorry I left... very sorry.
