"I enjoy driving it"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

The rear wiper motor has been replaced twice and still hangs up quite often.

The seat belt adjustment for shoulder location broke.

The brakes have felt spongy from day one.

The steering is not tight as the vehicle floats all over the road.

The third seat is a pain taking in and out.

General comments?

I feel very safe driving this vehicle and overall it seems like a great truck, it also has ample space.

It's tough to take a review seriously when problems like spongy brakes and loose steering that causes the truck to weave all over the road provoke a comment like "I feel very safe driving this vehicle". Pardon me for not being a sadist, but a truck that rides like this would make me feel at the very least uneasy about taking it out on the road. I think the reviewer needs to re-evaluate their assessment of this truck and realize that an out of control truck is not something that one should feel warm and fuzzy about. It should instead raise a red flag and signal a trip to the dealer for some work!

I have a 99 Expy e/b it has plenty of power and room, but I'm concerned. I had a wireing harness (1 wire) get burnt on the right side manifold this particular wire was to the trans. and overdriver. I continued to drive it (not over 50) to the dealership I'm just hoping nothing goes wrong with the trans. later on becauseof this. Other than this, I'm very satisfied with the performance and power! (Every thing is stock)

I am about to purchase a Red 1998 Eddie Bauer Ford Epedition from Jack Madden Ford in Norwood, MA. I test drove this truck and I didn't have any problems with this truck so far. But, hopefully I won't have any problems with it in the future.
