Transmission blew up at 700 miles melting the wiring harness.
5 sets of front brakes and rotors.
ABS system replaced.
A/C failed - leaking in 3 places.
Worst car I ever owned. Glad to be rid of it.
Vague handling/steering. Hard to control. Underbraked.
You can't knock all Explorer's. It sound like you got a real fat lemon, I'm sure you'd be happy with one that actually ran.
