1993 Ford Explorer XLT review from North America
"Unbelievably sound, and one of Ford's greatest creations"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The only thing that has gone wrong to date since I have owned the car was the Fuel Pressure Regulator.
That's it.
General comments?
I have never been happier with any vehicle, It runs quiet as like new with over 180,000 miles.
I have the leather seats which get use as I have to drive 4 hours every other week to go to college, and they are as comfortable as you could ever imagine.
The mileage is alright, not great for a V6 but the power it pushes makes up for it.
What can I say, my '93 Ford Explorer couldn't be beat by any similar engined SUV from the same year. My dad owned a Chev. Blazer with the 4.3 and it would barely go 60 in the wind.
