2000 Ford Explorer north face from UK and Ireland - Comments

"A brilliant car!!"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Nothing Significant.

General comments?

Fantastic car. Had it now almost a year and been impressed with everything it has shown me. Well mannered in all road conditions whether in a jam or cruising at high speed. Ceaseless power on tap and a lovely roar from the engine. Well equipped and everything continues to work. Loads of space and very comfortable. Costly on petrol, but well worth it for the level of comfort and quality of drive. Even after a year it still fells like a special occasion every time I go out! Buy one and never regret it - from my experience.

You don't see many reviews of SUV's like the Explorer in the UK, I have a few questions.

1) I have never heard of a "north face" Explorer, is it any different then a standard one?

2) Two doors or four?

3) Do you see many other Explorers and other American SUV's in the UK? (I would assume not as anti-American sentiment seems high there and I hear gas is around $8-9 a gallon for you guys (Ouch!) ).
