2000 Ford Explorer Sport review from North America
"A disappointing vehicle"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I am a longtime Ford driver and I recently moved from a Probe to the Explorer Sport.
Paint problems.
Transmission problems.
Wiper motor problems.
And now the rear window leaks in the rain.
General comments?
I got the Explorer Sport just before the commotion over the tire recalls and rollover news. Had I known, I would probably have waited for the Escape. Now, thanks to poor dealer and regional help, this is the last Ford I'll have.
