1991 Ford F150 XLT review from North America
"This truck overall is a solid truck that has run very well for me in the 2 years I've owned it"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
- Steering is pretty loose... have to pay extra attention to keep it on the road.
- Tranny is starting to go.
- Been in many accidents (not my fault).
- Rusting around the edges.
- Replaced spark plugs.
- Needed a new oil pan when I got it.
- Carpet is getting bad.
- Can be bumpy, but it is a truck.
- Really noisy on the highway (inside rattles)
- Slight hesitation when going to put the pedal all the way down.
- Replaced the tranny case from muddin' with it.
General comments?
The interior is in great condition, besides the power locks not working on the driver side.
As for the exterior, there is some rust around the corners, but that is to be expected with a old truck.
This truck is very fast, and a pretty good street racer.
That power also helps it pull around cars on a trailer.
I can also pull cars out of ditches in the winter time.
The automatic 4X4 works like a dream in the winter and when muddin'
