1993 Ford F150 XL review from North America
"Great"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Wow, what a question... 360000 and things do go wrong. Everything that has a bearing... almost. I won't list how many times or why, just what I've done. All has been DIY because I can.
Brakes and rotors, not the master cylinder though
rad, thermostat and housing, alternator, water pump, clutch, all wheel bearings, fuel pressure regulator (recall), headlights, fuel pumps (both), U joints, O2 sensor, blah blah blah.
General comments?
This is quite possibly the greatest car on the road. All those things are things that I replaced are things that just wear out. Never has let me stranded and I still drive it back and forth to Alaska every year.
I change the oil with Castrol 20-50 every 3-5 thousand and it just rocks. Why would you buy a Chevy or Toyota when you could buy a Ford?
