1985 Ford F150 F-150 review from North America
"A mean off-road machine"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Water pump went when I bought it, but I knew it was going bad.
Blew the #3 injector, changed it out and it ran rough, changed out the Throttle Position Sensor and fixed it.
Melted through my main vacuum lines and started running bad. Changed out bad lines and fixed it.
General comments?
I have did a lot to this truck to make it what it is today.
I put a 6" suspension lift on it.
Geared the axles with 4.56:1 gears and put in lockers.
Many other additions and this truck uses them well.
I have put this truck through hard times and it keeps coming back for more.
Best truck I've ever owned and it keeps getting better.
