You name it. I have had the starter replaced 3 times in one month.
The clutch has gone out on it.
It required a whole new braking kit cause the old one went bad.
The solenoid has been replaced 2 times within 6 months.
Front right rotor has become warped prematurely.
All of the electrical equipment in it has been shot.
There is a reason as to why Ford only offers a a 3 year 36,000 mile warranty on any of it's vehicles. They don't stand up against the real world tests.
This is the 2nd and last Ford I will ever own.
The one I owned before this one was no different.
This truck has been in the shop every month for the past 6 years that I have owned it. And I have all the repair bills to prove it.
Doesn't sound like the Fords I've owned. Sorry you had a bad experience, but most people don't.
Why did you keep it 5 years and 60000 miles if it was that bad?
3 starters in one month sounds unlikely. Unless you were installing them yourself and shorted them, or you had a short somewhere burning the starters.
