1994 Ford F150 XL review from North America
"High performance, with a price"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I blew a freeze plug out of the engine.
General comments?
It has always been a fun, and reliable truck that now puts over 700 rear wheel horsepower.
A few years ago the modifications started, and the fun began. I installed a K&N ram air, MSD ignition control, Procharger centrifugal supercharger, and Intercooler. Also I installed a direct port nitrous Injection system Suppllied by N.O.S.and a stand alone fuel managment system, MSD varible Timing controller.
The exhaust is dual 3 inch Flow Master.
The transmission is a beefed up E40D with a B&M stage three shift kit.
The differental is a Ford 9 inch with lockers.
The interior has been gutted, and has full competion buckets. The factory audio system was replaced with 2000 watt,16 speaker setup, that can shake windows for 5 blocks, and still have unbelievable high end.
If I only would have known it would get this far I Probably would have started with a mustang first.
