1995 Ford F150 XLT review from North America
"AWESOME, best truck EVER"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I have owned the truck for maybe two months now, and it seems fairly reliable however a few things have gone wrong:
-rear brake line leaked and was replaced.
-radiatior hoses leaking and were relpaced.
-oil pan gasket needs to be replaced $600 because the engine needs to be pulled to do this.
-most recently, tried to start it and wouldn't turn over, probably needs a new starter, it is at the dealer now.
General comments?
The 5.0 is a great motor for this truck, however, Ford, in an effort so compact engines, have made them so compact that labor is extremely high to do normal maintaince.
However, there is less wrong with this truck than my 1996 f150.
All in all great truck, the best I have ever owned.
