"Beautifully reliable, much more than expected"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Last year (2005) it started running extremely rough and the dealer flashed the main computer with out hesitation, but I did have to pay almost 400 dollars

other than that, nothing!

General comments?

Well, what can I say, this is a beautiful truck. its in dark blue with red pinstriping, tubular running boards, pretty factory wheels, quad cab, and 4x4. in july of 2003, when me, my wife, and my son were on vacation in montana, we drove by the ford dealership And saw the truck in the front row and we decided to have a look. I was amazed by how comfortable it was and an hour later we had our stuff moved from the dakota to the new one and we were on our way! I have not regretted that since, as this is THE most reliable vehicle we have EVER owned.

I am still amazed by the quality of this truck, the ride, power, and built quality is wonderful.

The power is more that adequate and I get an average of 18mpg.

The leather is comfy and the heated seats are nice

just an overall pleasing vehicle to own and I won't ever trade it in, or, but outside of the domestic realm.

Congratulations on a great American truck. The F-150 is one of the best built trucks in the world, if not THE best. It was recently chosen as the best truck (again) by Car and Driver, and you can be sure that when a highly biased source such as Car and Driver endorses ANYTHING built by Americans it HAS to be the best.
