Ford is amazing! Me and my dad have an early 78' F-250 Custom. It has a 400 big block that runs a granny-slow 4 speed. It needs some body work, the bed looks like someone took a baseball bat to it! Some modifications I would like to make to it would be to drop a 460 in and add headers with new glass-packs.
We also have an early 77' F-150 Custom Highboy. The 400 is sitting in the bed.
Another project we have is a 1972 F-100. Back in the day my dad shortened the frame and added a 4 speed to the 3 speed already there. It has a 360 and I have no idea if it runs.
I just got a Ford F250. It's a 1979, but I will have to say I will always be a Chevy man.
Inherited a '78 F-250 from my dad. Love it!!! Has the original 400 and C6. Great truck. Hopefully I will get the motor rebuilt sometime soon with new cam and headers. Not sure how many miles are on it since the odo only goes to 99K, so it's probably rolled over at least once. Will NEVER sell it. Can't wait for my new Chevy to be someone else's so I can drive the '78 around all the time.
