2002 Ford F250 XLT review from North America
"Overpriced, but a nice truck"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The truck was delivered with a small dent in the drivers side door.
At 500 miles, the suction line to the fuel pump started leaking, allowing air into the fuel system, causing poor performance. It was easy to fix.
The truck has had a slight lean to the drivers side. I suspect the suspension needs to be shimmed.
At 20,000 miles, the transmission had a coast clutch failure, resulting in loss of engine braking.
General comments?
This truck has lots of power. It is comfortable and easy to drive for such a large vehicle.
The transmission is the weak link.
