Leaks Oil.
General comments?
This is a truck.
It used to be a Dump Truck, but somebody put a pickup bed on it. Very rarely do you see a 70's Dually, let alone one with a bed.
Tons of Power, geared at 4.30 in the rear end, and with a Granny 4sp, it fears no load. Kinda slow top end, accleration is OK for what it is, its far from mind blowing, but its not exactly slow either. Tops at 67 MPH.
7MPG is about all you can get, that's with a Edelbrock 4BBL and Headers.
10 leaf springs and 2 overloads give it a ride that's simliar to that of a battle tank, however, the truck is very intimidating to smaller vehicles on the road. 30 large fence posts in the bed and the truck hardly squats.
The 4sp is your typical Granny Low Truck box. Kinda sloppy, and can't be shifted fast, but you can always rely on it.
Handling...well...it's a late 70's one ton... what do you expect?
Overall, a great truck.
