2008 Ford F450 review from North America

My 450 king ranch has had exhaust coming into the cab through the air vents it has been in the shop 3 times for this and the last time was for 4 weeks they finally fixed it by removing the body and changing the 2 hoses coming out of the manifold. this is probably a temporary fix as every person I know with this truck has same problem.

Now that they fixed the leak now I have a thumping noise under the passenger seat every time you hit a small bump or turn a corner with some slope to it. seeing how they have to take the body off to fix it.

I also found out that if the water pump goes out you have to remove the body as well and many other parts.

This means when your truck is out of warranty it cost 1,500 to remove and replace body before you buy the part you need.

My truck also goes threw modes where it blows white smoke out the tail pipe and I mean a lot of white smoke.

The truck is beautiful probably the best looking truck I have ever owned and I have owned 3 f350's with the 7.3 power stoke and the last one an 03 it has 300,000 miles on it and been in the shop less.

I do not recommend the new trucks if you use them for business as they spend most of the time in the shop.

Ford has offered me a 7 year 200,000 mile extended warranty bumper to bumper no deduct-able. but no compensation for all the time in the shop.

I use this truck for work and they can't give you a duly with a goose-neck hitch every time you put it in the shop. which cost me a lot more in productivity. now when the truck is in the shop I can only run one job at a time which cuts my income I half.
