1992 Ford Festiva GL review from North America

I got this car 3 days ago,,, first one I've owned, although always wanted one... hmmm... it's asking me to put down what's gone Wrong with the car since I've owned it... here goes... but let me make something clear first,, I'm not saying anything bad about these cars,, maybe mines just wore out,,, maybe it just didn't have routine maintenance from the previous owners,, who knows.. but so far,,, the throttle cable has been real loose, I didn't know that's what it was,,, i thought it was in the fuel.. but a friend of mine told me to check it, he was on the phone, he said, does it feel tight?? I turned the wrench, and the throttle cable FLEW off,, I said,, yep, it's loose... for sure now... OK.. that's not really a big deal,, I can zip tie that for now.. but there's an oil leak,, somewhere, don't know for sure where yet. I'm a 33 yr old female, who koows a LITTLE bit about cars,, but not much,, even genius would scratch their head at this.. it's throwing oil out on the firewall,,, looks like it's coming from below the oil filter, but I can't tell where.. and of course,, any other time I've got 14 guy friends hanging around,, but open a hood,,, they drive by,, and they don't even wave, so,,, NO, nobody's checked it ou. the guy I bought it from said the valve cover gasket is leaking, but I've had it 3 days, and have put 6 quarts of oil in it. I'm going to get someone to take the motor out and rebuild it, and put it back in, becuz the car has potential, and I'm in love with it, oil leaks,,, and all,, OH WAIT... one more thing, the timing cover is warped, you can see the timing chain/belt, whatever that thing is.

Its small, great on gas... fun to drive.. all around a awesome little car. wish I couldve got one when they made them new... but had to wait 15 years, until they stopped making them,,, to afford one.
