Windshield wiper motor
that's it!
Best car I've ever owned so far!
I've put 120000 miles on this car, drive it hard (usually 75mph) and it always goes and goes and goes. never got stuck. I still drive it occasionally. its now my mess around car since I just purchased another gem of a car. but this festiva will always be my favorite! high driving position, comfortable front seats, and lots of room surprisingly! it has a mazda engine and mazda transmission. this car was not made by ford, rather it was madeby KIA. this is KIAS best and only good product. this car was designed by mazda of japan and it shows! excellent car. I'm so upset they stop making them in the USA. this is probably the only ford product I would, but. great car! never breaks down. most reliable!
Nice review! I am looking for a 90-93 GL model, 5spd with a/c and I'm having a really hard time coming across one because they are so hard to find!!! I found one, but its about 800 miles away in TX (I'm in MD). Great review, reading these just makes me more anxious to get my Festiva. I plan on putting a Mercury Capri 1.6 liter DOHC engine into it (it is a mazda engine as well that puts out nearly double the power of the festiva's 1.3 liter). It should be pretty nice after I do that :).
Nice to read your comment. I was just hit with a Blizzard snow storm in NJ, and my festiva drove in it! it is also great in the snow.. the car still goes. I purchased mine from an auction. saw it in the newspaper. I'm sure its tough now to find one in the states since the last model year was 1993. good luck! this car is the best I've ever owned!
I agree! I love my 1993 Ford Festiva L in smurf blue. I actually get more looks in it than my red pontiac firebird. I am so into my little car which I recently acquired for $400.00 that I have a Ford Hat, stickers and more. This is a great little ride. Maintain it and it can run for a good good long time:>
My grandfather has a '93 festiva GL and without a word of a lie, hand on a bible, it has 735,000 kms on it.
