Very reliable car, but with a three-speed automatic it didn't get the greatest gas mileage (21-25mpg in town).
These cars aren't very crash-worthy.
It is fun dodging through traffic with one though.
I'm 6'3" and can sit up in this little car very easily.
I guess with the exhaust system removed it would have been pretty loud inside (and outside too)!
The Festiva was pretty barren inside even with a full interior. Without one, it must have been like being in a giant sardine can.
Did the faulty brakes and absence of a handbrake contribute to the accident?
The only reason to drive a car like this would be the fuel economy, and since your fuel economy sucked... well you know where I'm going with this.
Festiva 93 L is and will be my favorite car of all time. At 166,000 miles, still goes strong. All original parts except for starter, battery, and fan belt. Are you kidding me, timing belt is still original!
I got the 5-Speed.
This car is #1 in NYC driving. I can park it anywhere. Easiest car to drive..
