1993 Ford Festiva WB review from Australia and New Zealand
"Good not Great"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Changed front brakes.
Nothing wrong with the car.
Mostly just routine maitenance.
Have noticed a slight knock coming from the engine.
General comments?
This is a good car.
Nothing special just gets the job done.
I have installed 2 600w 6 by 9
and a deck, but that is about it.
I have noticed that the fuel consumption isn't as others say.
I tend to notice to get about 300km tops from a tank of fuel.
Also have noticed that the tank is quite small. I find that when I fill the tank when the tank is on empty (and the light is on) I only get about 30 litres tops in it.
So to my calculations I get about 10 Litres per 100km in my 1.3 litre auto.
Everything else seem good. Engine need encouragement to get up hills, but that is what you will expect from car the weigh under a ton.
