1990 Ford Festiva L+ review from North America
"I wish I had bought 3 more when I got this one"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Fuel regulator quit at 345,000 miles.
General comments?
It handles very good on the highway & in town driving.
The seats are comfortable even on long trips.
I change timing belt every 60K miles. Have replaced half shafts because one of them was clicking. Have replaced all wheel bearings because right rear inside bearing was starting to growl on turns. Have replaced water pump.
The biggest thing has been the deer that met untimly demise last October at the cost of a few parts from a parts car I have, 3 cans of white spray paint and some a/c parts I had to have made. Didn't put Festy down long though.
This is the best car I have ever owned for longivity, economy & trust-worthyness. I love it!!
