1990 Ford Fiesta L review from UK and Ireland
"The best £300 pounds I ever spent"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The Piston Rings decided to break on cylinder number 1.
The Water Pump is leaking very badly.
Front Brake Disc's Warped so braking was very fun.
I went through a puddle and the engine cut out took about a day to start and still wouldn't run properly. I think it needs more water proofing.
General comments?
I LOVE this car. I would recommend it to anyone, it is fun to drive. The 1.1 can accelerate off the mark like anything (Fun to out run 1.2 Novas in). I have had 3 crashes in the car and every time it has taken the impact very well, I have found fixing it and getting it on the road very easy. After my last crash it is coming off the road as I have been given a MK2 Fiesta and I am going to fix my MK3 up like it deserves and then sell the MK2.
