1993 Ford Fiesta i review from UK and Ireland
"Great first car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
On cold mornings the car doesn't seem to want to move. Its like "No I don't want to get up, I'm sleeping". After its 3 seconds of grief, the starter motor working double time it will start. Ticks over nicely. Then when you want to move it won't go over 25mph. But when it warms up it runs very nicely indeed.
The car had high mileage when I bought it, so there is interior wear, great first car though.
General comments?
Good reliable car, will start every time, but has to "warm up."
Roomy, comfortable, but when I first started driving it I got back ache, but my friends said that it was just my driving position, so I changed it and now no back ache.
The accelerator pedal is too soft, you just have to breathe on it and it will rev its head off.
Good little car.
