1999 Ford Fiesta Zetec 16v review from UK and Ireland
"A Little Gem"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Up to now absolutely nothing!!
Rear brakes a bit rumbly, possibly worn shoes.
General comments?
Not had the car for very long, but my initial impressions of the car are very positive.
Firstly the engine is a little belter and wangs round the rev counter very sweetly, but it isn't any quicker than my old citroen AX GT, but a superchip should cure that!
The car feels very well screwed together, no rattles or clonks has a nice interior and I love the green glow on the white dials at night :-)
The little fiesta sure does to stick to the road every bit as good as the ax did, but the car needs lowering as it sits too high for my liking.
If you can't afford a zetec-s then you can't go wrong with one of these, just as quick, but much cheaper.
All in all not a bad word on this little ford.
