1995 Ford Fiesta review from UK and Ireland
"Truly, the most sluggish slug on the road"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Just about everything possible - it's an instructor car. Biggest problem was a recurring one with the fuel supply - cost almost £1000 in repetitive exploratory work to find the fault, which turned out to be a crack in the fuel pump.
General comments?
Handling is good for a Ford, power steering is helpful. The engine is a load of pants - some of my pupils call it the gutless wonder, no acceleration at all. The fact that it is diesel does not help. Comfortable inside but as I said, it in desperate need of a turbocharger.
