1992 Ford Fiesta XR2i review from UK and Ireland
"Check insurance before buying"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
CV joint wear at 54k.
Previous service history shows a new cat at 34K. Nothing significant previous to that.
General comments?
Steering heavy at car-park speeds, handling and ride firm without being harsh, pulls strongly from low revs in all gears but still accelerates nicely
at high revs when the mood takes you.
Perfectly mapped ignition and carburation enables this car to be driven comfortably and sedately by my girlfriend or irresponsibly with crap fuel economy by myself.
