2005 Ford Fiesta Zetec s review from UK and Ireland

I have had the car for about 4 months and the gearbox has started leaking with also a eac fail (electronic malfunction) flashing on dash board, but it is under warranty so don't really matter to much. yet

So far in having the car it is excellent, I have come from a 1.6 escort and the zetec s is far better in performance and handling. When coming up against a Hyundai v6 or even a golf gti the car has managed to keep up or even pull away. Off the line it is sometimes embarrassing to other cars to be beat by a fiesta, but the only thing I can say is get used to it because it is going to happen more often. No matter what gear you are in even 5th floor it and acceleration is straight away.

There is no question about how this car can stick to the road, the cars like glue compared too many of its rivals. Sports steering, sports suspension it just gets better and better.

In side the cockpit it is slightly basic, but has a nice look about it and has a decent cd player.

Overall for the money, bhp the car is underestimated, but show em that when on the road.
