1995 Ford Fiesta Si review from UK and Ireland
"The car love of my life!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Needed a new clutch pretty quickly (may have been my fault?)
Exhaust fell off (but only twice in 11 years)
Passenger door and petrol cap locks stopped working.
Rust rust and more rust!
General comments?
This was only the second car I owned and my previous car had been an old Y reg, so the difference was like night and day! - I have to say however, that my old Y reg Fiesta had better bodywork at the end than this one.
The car was a seriously lovely car even with its biggest fault which was the rusting. I loved it so much that I would have spent a fortune to have the bodywork repaired if I could have afforded it.
As a reasonably mature lady driver it was sheer delight to beat the boy racers away from the lights and I have to say this little car gives you great street cred with those who appreciate a sporty motor.
Ford need to manufacture another one of these and I shall definitely be first in the queue, but I would definitely have it undersealed!!
