2005 Ford Focus ST review from North America
"Excellent compromise between performance and economy"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Antenna broke off but easily replaced by owner after
drilling out stud, saving 40.00.
Windshield washer pump failed when fluid reservoir
was allowed to go empty, but easily replaced by owner.
General comments?
This has been an excellent commuter, getting 32 mpg on the highway.
Aluminum wheels look as good as when new.
Exhaust note is distinctive and just right.
Handling is excellent.
Mobil 1 every 5k, and the engine burns next to no oil.
Mazda engine is the best I have owned.
No rattles, good audio system.
Interior materials good quality except for cheap visors.
