2008 Ford Focus SE review from North America

One time I went over a big bump and the catalytic convert got damaged and had to be replace because it was leaking carbon dioxide, which I was told by Meineke whom had fixed it. This was the second place I took the car in because I went to the dealer before and they said there was nothing wrong with the car, and that was probably because they did not want to fix it.

Not a lot of passenger room, which makes it an uncomfortable ride and the back seat is much worse.

Hot summer driving out here in El Paso (on the Mexico border) in this car is not so great. The AC on full blast does not have a lot of power to make the cabin feel like winter. It struggles when the outside temperature is over 100 degrees.

It's also not so good on gas.

Oil changes, service, and normal wear and tear. Parts do not last forever.

This car has not let me down, it's been a pleasure to have.

This car is a wonderful choice for around town driving, but not really for long trips, although it's good on gas, but it does not have enough comfort.

You can't beat a Ford for good brakes.

Great and easy inside features such as the p/l, p/w, keyless entry, sunroof, and an excellent sound system.

Bottomline. I was very pleased, and I like it a lot. However I got so tired of the discomfort so that made me decide to get a much more comfortable car and to get rid of this one.
