2000 Ford Focus review from North America
"Amazing value"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The only major thing that went wrong with my car was the ignition switch.
It was replaced for about $240. The only thing I can say if anyone else is having this problem, shop around, my local dealer wanted over $500 to replace.
I have also had the same vacuum line kink or melt, and stretch several times; very easy fix though.
The heater just started acting funny, only blowing hot when I feels like it.
General comments?
Roomy, good acceleration.
Reliable, good looks, amazing stock stereo and also great steering feel. My Mom's 2005 Malibu has the electric power steering; not much feel when you are going around sharp corners at 60.
I just love this car.
I'm thinking about upgrading to the ZTS.
