2006 Ford Focus ST review from North America

The only thing that I have had to replace on this car more frequently than one would expect is the tires. Although I have my tires rotated every 5,000 miles, because they are low profile and the car is so light in the rear, hitting bumps causes the back tires to skid across, causing more wear to occur.

I have had to replace two rims due to having low profile tires and living in a region where winters are rough, and the roads are filled with frost heaves and pot holes. Not the cars fault; the roads where I live are to blame.

I recommend anyone who is looking for a safe, reliable, high mpg rated vehicle to check out a Focus.

The ST model has the 2.3L 4 cylinder engine, and with a manual transmission, I have no problems zooming around other cars. Plenty of pep for a small car.

The car handles great, and even after three years the car still rides like it did when it was brand new.

Reliable and safe.

Great gas mileage ranging from 30-35 miles per gallon.

Interior looks nice and is very comfortable for both the driver and for all passengers. Plenty of trunk space.

All the luxuries you want in a vehicle while having a sporty, fun, safe, reliable and comfortable car for a reasonable price.
