2004 Ford Focus C-MAX Zetec review from UK and Ireland
"Great idea but owners are still testing the car for Ford"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Loss of power at crucial moments e.g. pulling out at roundabouts.
Clock cannot be changed and RDS clock setting does does not work. Please believe me when I say that this small thing is very annoying.
General comments?
Too technically experimental for a production car.
High costs of changing a light bulb and key. Only a keyhole on driver's side door - very annoying for the person without the remote key. Electric boot release will soon break and there is no manual release.
Excellent handling, ride and power. Great fun to drive and very spacious.
Heavy wear on brakes and low fuel economy because the car is either "on" or "off". There is no way that the car can be driven in a relaxed way.
