1994 Ford Granada Scorpio review from UK and Ireland
"With out doubt the worst car I have ever owned"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Gearbox seals blew at 55000.
Starter moter went at 58000.
Second starter motor went at 60000.
Third starter motor went at 61000.
Forth starter motor went at 65000.
Fith starter motor in now, but still plays up.
Lights blow at regular intervals.
From day one with only 47000 on the clock the gearbox leaked.
The radiator leaked water.
The engine leaked oil.
58000 miles the ball joints went on the front steering.
The trim on the outside of the doors comes unclipped.
The dash trim creaks.
The stickers around the lights fell off.
The cassette player chews up tapes.
The cd player sticks.
The radio cuts out.
General comments?
You have read all the reports just as I did so, don't think its not going to happen to you - it will - just have loads of spare money to keep repairing it.
