1991 Ford Granada GL review from UK and Ireland
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Sunroof pipes blocked.
Warped discs ( twice ).
Starter motor.
Central locking goes mad and opens and shuts itself.
Running roughly when cold - temperature sender wiring fault.
Clutch .
Windscreen demister element failed.
General comments?
This is an unbelievably good car, had it for four years. Drives like new at 85K, great comfort, space controls, gearchange, brakes, handling. DOHC engine very responsive overall 33mpg amazing for car size. Can drive for hours in total comfort, unlike most cars.
My wife has had four cars (soon to be 5!) in this space of time as none of hers as been as good as my Ford. I am currently looking for a much newer one as I fancy an auto.
