2004 Ford Ka review from UK and Ireland

What things have gone wrong with the car?
Right hand headlamp bulb blows every 2 months.
Large amount of play in gearbox/diff.
Unexplainable engine misfire.
No lubricant on locks hinges from new.
General comments?
The ka has excelent cornering ability's and is fun to drive. But is let down by brakes that overheat oto easily and an engine that's from the dark-ages.
The dash has it in for my left knee cap.
Does the job and at a great price.
