1998 Ford Ka review from UK and Ireland
"Nightmare!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Engine needed to be replaced after a piston dropped and damaged the engine beyind repair (I had owned the care just over a month!)
Radiator Leak.
Power Stearing Failure.
Wheel realignment out.
Terrible rust arounds sills.
General comments?
I bought this car aa a cheap run-about and have nothing, but trouble! Since buying it I have spent nearly 1, 000 pounds on repairs.
Whenever I take it to the garage I am told... this is a common problem with Ford Ka's- how many problems can one car have?!
I really like the style of the Ka and handling and fuel efficiency are great, but reliability is terrible and nobody at Ford seems at all bothered!
