1998 Ford Ka 3 review from UK and Ireland
"Great little hatch"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
First gear sometimes a pig to engage on the move.
General comments?
The handling of the Ka is superb for such a small car it handles like a hot hatch, and if it had a bigger engine (sportka) would eat 206 gti's and c2 vtr's.
Air conditioning is not very effective, but this is the case with the focus and fiesta, so I guess is a ford failing.
The engine is pretty sprightly and manages to get the car up to speed without any trouble, which coupled with the superb handling means it can hustle along brilliantly.
The only other car I would swap it for is the sportka, I really do like the ka, and would recommend it to anyone who needs a small car for city driving.
